"What is a Database?"
A database is a collection of data stored on a computer.
For the purpose of scholarly research, a database is a list
of documents which can be searched for by computer, and may
provide access to the following types of documents:
- Journal articles
- Reports
- Conference papers
- Books
- Chapters of books
- Published and unpublished papers
