Citing Internet Resources

When writing an essay or research assignment, you are required to acknowledge all your sources of information including those from the Internet.

Citation styles vary according to subject discipline. You must use the citation style guide provided by your academic convenor, or your Department.

For citation style guides which indicate how to reference electronic materials see:

Failure to acknowledge your sources of information, using the work of another person and presenting it as your own, constitutes plagiarism, and incurs severe academic penalties.
