Finding a judgement online

There are currently four databases available in the Library that give access to the full text of Australian judgments. They are:

Lawbook Online, LexisNexis and LexisNexis AU give access to published law reports and unreported judgments. For more details on content and access see the table of online law reports.

The Australian Legal Information Institute (AustLII) is a joint initiative of the University of New South Wales and the University of Technology, Sydney. Its aim is to provide free access to Australian legal material via the Web. It also provides a gateway to web-based international legal materials.

Extensive coverage of Australian legislation and case law is available on AustLII. A full list of the Australian materials offered on AustLII may be viewed at http://www.austlii.edu.au/databases.html.
